Virtual Birthday Party/Playdates |
Celebrate your child's birthday or have a playdate with their friends in the safety of your homes.
We highly encourage smaller groups, up to 10 kids, to make sure all party guests can interact with one another and easily view each other's art.

Information
We will provide all the pottery and supplies for all the kids to be able to finish their pieces during the virtual party. Our instructor will host and facilitate the event on Zoom. The event will last about 40-45 minutes.
Parent's assistance is encouraged in case their kids need help with the technology needed to watch and participate in the event, as well as if they need help with something with their pottery that we can't do as we're not with the kids in person. They don't need to be there the whole time, only if the kids need assistance.

How it works
Reserve Event Date/Time
- Fill out the form below. We will contact you if we have any questions and notify you when your order is ready for pick up. We’ll pack up some brushes and paint pots and individuallypackaged for each guest. You will be doing the pieces during the virtual party.

Picking up pottery: (Curbside ONLY)
Dropping off finished pottery:
Picking up completed birthday/playdate order:
- Pottery: Cost of each piece + $8 firing + tax
- Price includes pottery per child and all supplies needed to complete the project.
- Instructor: $50
- To host and facilitate the event virtually
- Deposit: $50
- Secures your reserveration.
- Will be applied to the final total cost at the party.
- Deposit is non-refundable. If host cancels party, no refunds. No exceptions. Deposit can be used towards another party or event.
- Optional Birthday Plate: (see Birthday Plates for additional info)
- Small plate: $35
- This is the plate that we offer with our Toddler Celebration Package.
- Large plate: $55
- This is the plate that we offer with our regular birthday packages. (Celebration, Private, Playdate)
- Small plate: $35
- Gratuity not included, but greatly appreciated.
Picking up pottery: (Curbside ONLY)
- You will be notified when your to-go birthday pottery order is ready for pick up approximately 48 hours before the event.
- The host family picks up all of the pottery & supplies (individually packaged in separate bags for each guest). The birthday parent is responsible for delievering the pottery before the party.
- Please don’t hesitate to email with any questions/inquiries. We’ll follow up with you as soon as possible to accommodate your requests.
Dropping off finished pottery:
- Host family will coordinate pickup of the birthday/playdate pottery and supplies with party guests.
- Once all birthday pottery has been picked up, please email us so we can plan a window of time to drop the pottery at either our Wilton or Fairfield locations.
Picking up completed birthday/playdate order:
- Final pickup will be scheduled accordingly.
Themes
As these parties will be done remotely, party options will be limited. The birthday child/host will get to select one of our 4 included themes (Sweets, Animals, Unicorns, Sports), as well as the type of pieces they will be painting (boxes, banks, figurines).
We will do our best to accomodate your requests.
- Please keep in mind that all kids will be doing the same type of pottery, based on the selected theme.

Birthday Plates
Not required for playdates. For birthday parties, while not required, this optional add-on makes a wonderful keepsake to remember this special day. We have consolidated options to make this process easier to manage.

Painting Instructions
We will give specific instructions for specfic pieces during the virtual birthday/event.
Supplies included
Please only use supplies from our art container: detail and regular brushes, yellow sponge (to wipe off mistakes or unwanted glaze), round painting sponge, glaze containers, non-spill container to wash brushes
Set up your painting area
Wash your hands to make sure hands are clean and free of any oils. Pick a clean surface (away from food and paints (such as acrylic, oil, etc.)) and place the provided placemat on your painting area. Fill up the spill-proof container with clean water. Grab a few paper towels to wipe your brushes and hands. Do not use baby wipes or any kind of wipes on the pieces as they contain oils, which repel the glazes from pottery.

Disclaimer: We are not liable or provide any refunds if your piece explodes in the kiln if you do not follow these instructions. Using outside paints or brushes, and wipes, could cause your piece to explode in the kiln and impact other client's pieces. Following these procedures will help to make sure your pieces come out of the kiln in one piece. It is our goal to provide the best possible customer service to our clients.
