Happy Hands is offering weekly camp sessions for ages 4 & up. (Kids must be potty trained) Camps are mixed age groups, which is great for siblings and social interactions with other kids.  

All materials used are lead free, non toxic, water based and will not stain skin or clothes. 

​All fired pottery is food and dishwasher safe, although we recommend hand washing to prevent possible damage to your precious work.

Summer Camp Overview

General INformation
Camp will start the week of June 13th in Fairfield and week of June 19th in Wilton, subject to school schedules.

Sessions run Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-1:00PM. Weekly themes and different daily projects. 

Activities will include interactive pottery painting, clay hand-building, canvas, mixed media, and more!

During snack and lunch time, kids can enjoy game time, kids-friendly movies/shows for up to 10 minutes or less.​​
  • We'll take the kids outside during these breaks, subject on weather conditions and location.
Pricing
Weekly subscriptions only.  Prices listed before tax (CT tax: 6.35%), which will be applied at checkout. 

$395/child
  • $50 non-refundable deposit per child is required to reserve a camp week.
  • Balance will be charged within 24 hours of the reserved week.
  • All reservations are final within 24 hours of camp start date​.

​Daily rate (when available): $79/child
  • First week of camp as area schools finish the school year at different times. Priority will be given to weekly subscriptions.
  • Makeups: if the makeup child's sibling joins the camp; subject to availability

Notes:
Camp Reservations may be rescheduled with an emailed timely notice up to 48 hours prior to the reserved camp start date with an email notification to Happy Hands and confirmed replied to avoid miscommunications. ​
  • Changes are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate any changes in your summer schedule based on availability.
  • For no-shows, without an email notification, you are subject to be charged for the weekly camp rate of $395 per child.​

​Camps will not be prorated for late drop-offs or early pickups, as well as missed days due to the unusual circumstances and limited space availability.​

No refunds: We'll do our best to accommodate your request and reschedule your weekly reservation. A timely emailed notice to ​Happy Hands is a must (24 hours before the camp start date to accommodate the waiting list)
  • Requests are not guaranteed and are subject to space availability.
  • No credits can be given towards missed days.​

​SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Masks are optional for both instructors and participants.
  • Happy Hands is a mask-friendly environment and we will not tolerate any peer pressure or unsportsmanlike behavior of any kind related to an individual’s decision.

Camp Check-In: 
  • ​Parents must sign off that their child(ren) are not showing any signs of illness (sneezing, coughing, fever, sore throat, etc.) or have taken any medications to reduce temperature or signs of illness. 
  • Please understand that if we notice any child feeling unwell at any point, parents will be immediately contacted and must pick up their child(ren). We will gently isolate the child(ren) from the other kids until their parent arrives.​
​
⚠️ To ensure that everyone is safe and healthy, and to minimize any potential health issues during camp, parents/legal guardians must inform us promptly if there's any signs of health/COVID-19 symptoms in your household, in writing, prior to the start of your reserved camp week. ⚠️
 

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP?
​Clothing to wear:
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Sneakers (or shoes that don't come off easily, to minimize tripping hazards)
  • Scrunchie/hair tie (if the child has longer hair)

Parents should pack the following for each child:
  • Snack
  • Lunch
  • Water Bottle

Notes:
  • ALL food must be nut-free to minimize any possible allergy exposure
  • Any food that requires peeling or sliced (oranges, bananas, etc) must be pre-peeled and/or sliced at home. We cannot touch your child's food.
DID YOU RECEIVE MY REGISTRATION?​
Once you submit your form, a message will appear to tell you that we will typically respond (via email) within 24-48 hours of your submission.

​Anything submitted after business hours on Friday and into the weekend, will be addressed on the following Monday (or Tuesday).

If you haven't received a follow up or confirmation by then, please double check your spam folder first before reaching back out to us to double check if we have received your registration.
​IS THERE STILL SPACE AVAILABLE IN YOUR CAMP? ​
We make all efforts to update our website as soon as possible when we are near or at capacity, to ensure accurate availability.

However, please keep in mind that we approve registrations on a first come-first serve basis and as such, available spots may already be full by the time we get to your registration.

This may happen if we receive multiple registrations at the same time.
​HOW DO I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY CHILD'S CAMP REGISTRATION?
Proper notification must be done no later than 48 hours before the scheduled camp date, so we can potentially accommodate people on the waitlist.
  • Proper notification: Email sent to Happy Hands (hhpottery@yahoo.com) within 48 hours of your scheduled reservation.
  • If you call the studio to cancel or reschedule, you must email us as well.
  • You must get an email from us confirming your request to avoid miscommunications.

To reschedule to another camp day: Requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

It is your responsibility to reach out to us if there are any changes.

Per our no-show policy, If we do not receive an email from you and your child is then not present at camp, you may subject to be charged for the daily camp rate of $79 per child.

​Let's adventure to land of make believe! Our imaginations will run wild as we create art and crafts based on our favorite mythical creatures like unicorns, dragons, fairies, mermaids, and gnomes!
WEEK 4*: LET'S GO CAMPING!
JULY 3RD-7TH
We'll be exploring the wonders of the Great Outdoors! Come sit with us by the campfire as we gaze at the stars, keep our hot dogs and burgers safe from the bears, sing along to camping songs, go hiking, take a trip to a lake and roast some yummy s'mores! Get your camping gear ready.

*Will be a 4-day week, due to 4th of July landing on Tuesday this year. Will prorate accordingly.

    ⚠️If you had anyone in your home experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms prior to camp starting, you must notify us via email as soon as possible so we can accommodate you accordingly. ⚠️
    I certify that I will inform Happy Hands Art & Pottery, if anyone in my household has been exposed to COVID-19 prior to the reserved camp week.

    ​Cancellation Policy:
    • You will be charged 48 hours prior to the camp date. Cancelations must be done no later than 48 hours before the scheduled camp date via email. To make sure there are no miscommunications, you must get an email confirmation of your cancelation. ​
      • The $50 non-refundable deposit can be used towards another Summer Camp week, subject to availability. 
    • For no-shows, without an email notification, you will be charged for the full camp week of $395 per child.

    • Credit/Debit card payments only. We are not accepting cash or check payments.
    • ​​Camps are not prorated for late drop-offs or early pickups.​
    • ​​If you or anyone around you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (such as coughing, sneezing, fever, etc), or have been in close contact with anyone who's been diagnosed with COVID-19, please do not come into our studios and follow quarantine protocol for the safety of our customers and staff.​
    • ​In consideration of the Summer Camp program provided by the Happy Hands Art & Pottery, LLC. facilities in which program are held, I do hereby allow my child/children listed above to participate in the  program activities and do hereby waive claim and release Happy Hands Art & Pottery LLC for claim or liability for any incident or accident occurring from my child’s participation in the art activities.
    • I authorize emergency first aid care to said child by Happy Hands Art & Pottery LLC. staff in the event he/she becomes injured or ill during the camp if the parents and/or legal guardian of the child are not immediately available at the telephone numbers provided above. I further authorize Happy Hands Art  & Pottery LLC. to retain the services of a physician or other competent emergency medical persons to treat the child and I accept full financial responsibility for any charges arising from said treatment.
    • Happy Hands Art & Pottery reserves the right to use photos or videos taken at our programs and events on our website, blog, social media or in printed materials.
