Camp Overview

Information

• Happy Hands camps provides a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for your child to express themselves.
•  For kids ages 4 & up.
• Sessions run from 9:00AM-1:00PM. 
• Camp submissions close at 9PM the night before each session to guarantee a spot, unless that day is full!
• Activities will include interactive pottery painting, clay hand-building, canvas, mixed media, and more!
• During snack and lunch time, kids can enjoy game time, kids-friendly movies/shows for up to 10 minutes or less.​
• We'll take the kids outside during these breaks, subject on weather conditions and location.
• All materials used are lead free, non toxic, water based and will not stain skin or clothes. 

• ​All fired pottery is food and dishwasher safe, although we recommend hand washing to prevent possible damage to your precious work.​
• 48-hour cancellation policy via email only.​

Dates:

• Wilton: February 17th-21st, April 18th, and April 21st-25th
• Fairfield: February 14th, 17th, March 31st, and April 14th-18th

Note: April dates will be added to the registration form once February break concludes for both simplicity and minimize confusion.

Prices

Prices listed before tax (CT tax: 6.35%), which will be applied at checkout. 

$79/child (per child, per day)

• All inclusive: 4 hours of instructional class and all materials

Notes:

• ​Camps are not prorated for late drop-offs or early pickups.
• You will be charged within 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled camp date. No refunds.
• For no-shows, you are subject to be charged for the daily camp rate of $79 per child.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS​

​Our camps maintain safe capacity.

• 8-18 participants, based on subscriptions.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures:

• A parent, guardian, or authorized adult must sign in the camper upon arrival at the studio and confirm that the child(ren) are not exhibiting any signs of illness (such as fever, or sore throat).  
• Campers must be picked up within the designated time frame. Late pick-ups may result in additional fees.
• If an unlisted adult needs to pick up the camper, prior written consent from the parent/guardian is required.
• Campers will not be released without an adult's sign-off at the studio or to unauthorized individuals or minors.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

Cancelations can be done no later than 48 hours before the scheduled camp.

• An email must sent to Happy Hands ([email protected]) 
• If you call the studio to cancel or reschedule, you must email us as well.
• You must get an email from us confirming your request to avoid miscommunications.
• ​Please reach out to us if there are any changes.
• Any changes within 48 hours of the camp or no-shows will incur a daily charge of $79 per child.
• ​​No Refunds for last minute changes or no-shows. No exceptions. ​No-shows take spot(s) away from other kids who might have otherwise been able to attend the camp.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP?

​Clothing to wear:

• Comfortable clothing
• Sneakers (or shoes that don't come off easily, to minimize tripping hazards)
• Scrunchie/hair tie (if your child has longer hair)

Parents should pack the following for each child:

• Snack
• Lunch
• Water Bottle

Notes:

• ALL food must be nut-free to minimize any possible allergy exposure.
• Any food that requires peeling or sliced (oranges, bananas, etc) must be pre-peeled and/or sliced at home. We cannot touch your child's food.

DID YOU RECEIVE MY REGISTRATION?​

Once you submit your form, a message will appear to tell you that we will typically respond (via email) within 24-48 hours of your submission.

​Anything submitted after business hours on Friday and into the weekend, will be addressed on the following Monday (or Tuesday).

If you haven't received a follow up or confirmation by then, please double check your spam folder first before reaching back out to us to double check if we have received your registration.

​IS THERE STILL SPACE AVAILABLE IN YOUR CAMP? ​

We make all efforts to update our website as soon as possible when we are near or at capacity, to ensure accurate availability.

However, please keep in mind that we approve registrations on a first come-first serve basis and as such, available spots may already be full by the time we get to your registration.

This may happen if we receive multiple registrations at the same time.

What's the age range for kids to participate in your camps?​

Our programs are typically designed for kids 4-10.

​Most kids who attend are between the ages of 4-8. We've had older kids attend, as old as 12, though it's usually because they have a younger sibling that is also attending. 

Some camps have more younger kids (4-6), while others have more older kids (7-10). It all depends on who signs up for a particular camp. We always encourage kids to be signed up with their friends and/or siblings, so they know at least 1 other kid in the camp. ​

IS THERE A SIBLING DISCOUNT IF I REGISTER MULTIPLE KIDS?​

No, we do not offer a sibling discount. All kids will be charged the same price per child, regardless of how many kids are registered together from the same family.
