After School Program |
Looking for a fun activity for the kids? As schools have been doing remote learning in some capacity, we wanted to host a program so kids can get out of their homes and have some fun!
Information
- 2 1/2 hour sessions
- Drop off only* (no buses at this time)
- Sessions will be broken up into 3 sections and there will be a snack break in between each section:
- Art activities (Pottery painting/clay/mixed media) (50 min):
- All artwork, besides mixed media projects, will be glazed and fired by Happy Hands Art & Pottery. Clay will take a few weeks to be completed, while pottery painting will take about a week. Mixed media projects can be taken home the same day.
- All paints, bisque & clay are non-toxic, lead free and food safe (except mixed media paints).
- Study time (50 min):
- Kids can work on their homework
- Honors students from Wilton/Fairfield schools will be there to assist with homework in person
- Game/storytime activities (40 min):
- Indoor/outdoor patio (based on weather conditions)
- Indoor/outdoor patio (based on weather conditions)
- Art activities (Pottery painting/clay/mixed media) (50 min):
- Snack Break (10 min):
- For the snack break, parents must provide a nut-free snack and water (or desired kid-friendly beverage of choice) as we will not be providing food or water.
- 1 makeup class available upon request.

- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Flex Pay: $45/session (min. 2-3 days/week)
- $540 (2 days x $45 x 6 weeks)
- $810 (3 days x $45 x 6 weeks)
- $50/daily (with 1 week subscription, subject to space availability)
- $100 (2 days x $50 x 1 week)
- $150 (3 days x $50 x 1 week)
Other times & dates can be arranged, based on group requests.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PARENTS!
As of September 11, 2020:
Due to the state/local guidelines for reopening safely during this time of COVID-19, there will be no buses coming to the bus stop. For the safety of the kids and community, they want to minimize any potential extra risks of spreading this virus.
They will reassess the bus situation in a few weeks. We will keep you updated. For the time being, anyone who wants their kids to participate in our after school program, they will have to be dropped off to the studio directly.

Our program has been updated for the latest updates from CDC, ACA and local authorities for everyone’s safety:
- Limited group size: minimum of 8, up to 12 participants
- Social distancing & redesigned seating
- Face covering for adults mandatory & kids as appropriate
- Extensive cleaning & disinfecting of the facility
- Daily screen checks
- Parents must sign off that their child(ren) are not showing any signs of illness (sneezing, coughing, fever, sore throat, etc.): Please understand that if we notice any child feeling unwell at any point, parents will be immediately contacted and must pick up their child(ren). We will gently isolate the child(ren) from the others until their parent arrives.

Registrations must be made by 9PM the night before the first session.
